Serenity
Is Gods Garden
Before I created Serenity, I was going to hurry up and get an image up, so I first posted:
Abstract Still Life
Once a doodle, always a doodle.
I chose to doodle today. Doodle day doodle all day.
Ambulating
Blessed by Love’s Grace
A late bloomer, this is taken of the other tulip tree in my yard.
This image a day project has been shaking up my set beliefs about what is acceptable and what is not. Some of the big crusts are breaking off, and the tender new thoughts underneath seem not to be quite so rigid, nor discriminatory. It’s as if my sensibilitys get to wake up fresh to a new each day.
Greatness
Peace in Every Moment
I Know God Would – Would Dogwood?
The dogwood is in full bloom in our neighborhood. What an absolutely gorgeous tree/blossom. I could just stand peacefully watching it’s beauty blossom.
Masterpiece
Friendly Distraction
Dead Flowers
Spirit’s Grace
The last of the candycane camelias still languish on my table. They are as beautiful now as when first picked, in a way that stirs the deepest crevices of my heart. I have not found it necessary to send them off to compost yet. I do so appreciate all of the beauty in this life.
All Dressed Up
Two Sisters
Playing with an old black and white photo and textures and color photos can become addictive. There are thousands of ways one can go, many of them acceptable. Dabbly dabbly, I like to fiddly faddly. It’s the idea of play, and learning through doing that feeds the creative process. All Dressed up for Easter. I still remember the dress.
Choices
I Choose Joy!
This evening we played for a Fun Raiser (Yes I spelled it right) for Heifer International. It is such a wonderful concept, and I really appreciate the work that has been done by them since the 1940’s to help people help themselves. It really takes such a little bit to make a big difference. It is, like everything else we do, a choice that one makes. Today I choose the highest good. That is always joy, at some level. I think there is a mathmatical formula for it. I think it goes something like this: Gratitude+Heart+Service=JOY!
