Curly Clouds

Thought Horizon
Sweet Glen
Not too long ago
just across that stream of consciousness
In a sweet glen
of fern and speckled sunlight
Baby deer awoke
to the fullness of heart
inherent in all that lives
Nature’s Gifts
Barefeet cuddled and softly cushioned
by mounds of wooly thyme
Sweet jasmine curls around the nose
on soft perfumed breezes climb
That was then and this is now
the leaves all oranges and reds
And mums bright bouquets
with sharper smell
show off their fancy heads
Spring or fall, it matters not
summer or winter, too
Nature’s gifts are here for us
so just take off your shoes
Happy Dog
The thing I like about
a happy dog is
Dog doesn’t give a rip
what the silly grin looks like
Dog just exudes joy
That’s why dog works so well
for the G-O-D anagram
Joy, joy, joy, joy, joy!
Friendly Neighbors
Habits invite themselves
in the back door
Opportunities for change
knock
on the front door
Jester
When you meet
the jester on the road
sometimes the jester
turns
and steps in cadence
with you for a while
* * * * * *
May as well dance
Guava Squirrel
“Day in and day out
as an expression of infinite source
an artesian spring of love,
my heart overflows
bubbling over with sweet joy
Blessed beyond measure
by gratitudes grace…”
——————————————-
Thus, thought squirrel
without the words
in his tiny moment of contemplation
before partaking of guava
praying over natural bounty
Mmmm–yummy!
Container of Beauty
Beauty and Joy
Many years ago I made the conscious decision to choose joy in my life, and went about discovering how that could be more my experience than some alternative one. Filling my cup with that joy, that beauty, is a life long endeavor, achievable only one moment at a time.
