May Bridge
May blooms
as a bridge
Between winter’s grey
and summer’s crowning
May this May
bloom in your Spirit…
May blooms
as a bridge
Between winter’s grey
and summer’s crowning
May this May
bloom in your Spirit…
After these years together
as some sparkling new day begins
so many times I notice
it’s déjà vu all over again
Familiarity, it seems
(at least, in our experience)
causes not contemptuous lip
Instead a deepening of Love
With new eyes, I see you again
a whole new being with tender spots
and blossoming heart
Ever richer connection
Made of overt color
capable of startling nourishment
through the retina
Banging on the door
of ability to perceive
It literally rocked stable concepts
with inexplicable aplomb
and a spattering of stutters
in shades of gray
——————–
Fed until staggering
by colors and hues
so vibrant, so thick
The taste of them
makes my cheeks curl
Ah, abundance of Autumn!
Once inside the mind
of every human
the paths are tricky
and somewhat convoluted
Yet there is an aura
a sweet, sweet smell
that reminisces of the long, cool drink
at the Well of Life…
In the shadow of the moonlight
where mystery stalks our thoughts
A palpable encompassing force
creeps beside, around and through
A midnight walk in forest
A solo flight in deep wood
into dreams and deeper things
There the shadows lurk
with not a bit of timid
and sounds arise enlarged
to wreak a cacophony of fears
Still each of us remains a light
and all of us are Sacred
So every nook may be embraced
and each peaceful, joyful, thrill relished
