It’s not hard to do
what feels right
in our heart
We just enjoy resisting it
so we can enjoy it even more
once we allow ourselves
to do it..
A kind of roundabout
false valuing
which backfires a lot
I’m thinking, hmmmm,
why not go for the pure joy
straightaway
Little chickadee
peckin’ at the ground
Here a seed, there a worm
food abounds
He sings for joy
for wherever he goes
All to meet
his needs are found
Joy!
welling up like the laugh
after a slow joke
bubbles up from my center
A never ending artesian well
from Spirit…
On the precipice
of discovery
Where epiphany and spark
idea and imagination conjoin
At the apex of Spirit’s
creative impulse
There you will find
incorrigible joy
Fierce and undefeatable
JOY!
I surround myself with favorites
All that I relish
All that nourishes my spirit
All that empowers my strengths
I am filled with love
my heart embraced in sweetness
Joy overflows
loved ones all around
