Rush of Spirit
Miles and miles
hours and hours
bumping along dusty dirt roads
When we came upon
lush meadow vast and green
And suddenly a-pounding
a rush of Spirit
There came a huge herd
Manes dancing
tails flying
as they took our breath away
Miles and miles
hours and hours
bumping along dusty dirt roads
When we came upon
lush meadow vast and green
And suddenly a-pounding
a rush of Spirit
There came a huge herd
Manes dancing
tails flying
as they took our breath away
The miracle of the hour
was tip-toeing around
in the recesses of his mind
Tickling his fancy thoughts
with epiphanies
full of possibilities
Yeah! What fun!
Fortunate folly:
She tripped on her thoughts
fell into a pile of epiphanies
and awoke into enlightenment
“Aha!”
One time is all it takes
to awaken to enlightenment
After that, one can only nap
no more going
completely unconscious
Like fairy dust
spread wide in a windstorm
epiphanies sparkled
in spurts and spots
inspiration marked
a seemingly random course
testing faith with ordered judgements
“Ah,” she said, “Ah-ha!”
“Ah choooo!”
And off we went again…
