Nature’s Glory

Once, there was a little boy
who climbed to the top
of a tree and leaned on the wind

He was exalted
in the midst of Nature
——————————
Now, as a grown man
he still feels the glory of it!

Weaving Beauty

A vine twines
amongst the garden

Attaching, connecting
weaving beauty

May the web of life
be ever as strong
and beauteous, always

Magnolia Meditations

Gorgeous blossom
hiding place for
the squirrel today

Sprinkled over the landscape
awaiting an unknown bride tomorrow
…………………………………………………..

Aw…
two love-doves
in the garden

Come to roost
to sing their loving song

We are even more blessed!
I didn’t imagine that possible

Cavorting

Like cavorting dolphins
they flowed through life
seemingly carefree

With unabashed abandon
poking at turtles
and elbowing whales
…………………………………………

Exuberance abounds
in my heart of hearts

When we allow our little kids
from the inside into outside
to cavort and play

Winter’s Passing

Tulip tree popping
in the early morning
sidelong light

Looking all bright and Springy
in the stillness of chilly air
• • •
How is it Winter’s passing
in deluge or fits and starts
is sung so sweetly at bitter end

By light and happy birds
winging crazily in praise
dancing to their own bird song?
• • •
How is it my Spirit soars
as if I were one of them?
