Sometimes once….
Just isn’t good enough
As beauteous and wonderful
as it may well be
Or, perhaps, it reflects
lavish playfulness
Either way
the multitude of birds
in the almond trees…
or the blanket of daffodils
on the side of the road…
Feasts for my eyes
and heart with awe
“Aw nuts!” cried squirrel
as he rolled over
in the midst of a long late winter’s nap
And he smiled with all he had
at the very thought…
Building integrity
one brick at a time
Awakening to the truth
of being a human being
doing human life
Aligned with Source
Aligned with Love
Raindrop slides along side
new bud budding slow
Bare branches soak it in
moisture fat and drippy
• • • •
Contemplating silence
in the midst of drips
and drops and gurgles
Whets imagination
Wets the dry earth
Shallow waters
still or quick
magnify all aspects
of washed terrain beneath
• • • •
Let us bathe in Spirit’s shower
revealing hearts so clearly
Washed by tears of longing
clarified from within
• • • •
Shallow waters
can run deep…
