Joy!
welling up like the laugh
after a slow joke
bubbles up from my center
A never ending artesian well
from Spirit…

The cobbled walkway
traversed the garden
and ended in private places
Where big blue containers
ceramic and overflowing
with brilliant red geraniums
sat spritely next to
old wooden benches
Near the tiny stoops
in front of ancient wooden doors
There the brightly colored
speckled painted walls
reached to cloudless sky
Daily Delights
Pineapple guava aka feijoa
A delightful surprise
just showed up one day
Life is full of delights like that
They just show up unexpectedly
So, enjoy the daily harvest of life
as it keeps manifesting in your life

slunk around
hiding in plain sight
Watching the silly two-leggeds
as they danced their silly dances
with such serious faces

he slipped between bushes
full of his favorite berries
Behind moss covered boulders
no weight upon his shoulders
Observing, smiling, thriving
in his version of the natural world
Spirit’s Time
Time management
is best handled by Spirit
who knows no time
Yet all time is in perfection
For what is time
but another expression of Love?
Incorrigible Joy
On the precipice
of discovery
Where epiphany and spark
idea and imagination conjoin
At the apex of Spirit’s
creative impulse
There you will find
incorrigible joy
Fierce and undefeatable
