Brink of Epiphany

Brink of Epiphany

In Faith or Simple Belief

A quick pencil portrait done on collegiate ruled binder paper in 1970. A poem from the Daily Napkin.  It feels like some kind completion somehow. I could not discard the drawing all those years. Now it can rest.

The Light at the Center of the Heart

Color Me Brightly

The sculptures in my masters thesis show were like this – assemblages of various thoughts and experiences, textures and approaches. This sketch was from that time too – or earlier or later, I don’t recall. To me any day in my life is like that – a little of this and little of that. I thought this a bit bright and cheerful for a bright and cheerful day.

Won’t You Join Me?

Today’s image is a digital rehash of one of my paintings – layered and enhanced. I started to post my Daily Napkin, and it seemed like it needed an illustration (They usually would benefit from an image, in my opinion, however, I don’t always have time).  I started mining my scanned images and photographs to create the perfect image, when I was reminded of this one (Called Moondancer). I think it bears repeating.
