Shower of Love
In the shower of love
my pores soak it up
All the extra stuff
soiled or shadow
sticky or too sweet
sloughs off
And I am left standing
whole and complete
In Spirit’s house
I shower every day
Shining His Light
A point of light
in all the darkness
Shines and sparkles
in velvet night
The fire of Spirit
shines a beacon
Burning bright
from him
for all to see
Best Friends
We ride the tides
big waves and eddies
You and I best friends
through it all
You up, me down and the other way
a great connection
silent listening, hand extends
shouting or singing
You can count on me
even in the dark
And I know you are there
even with my eyes closed
The Truth
The Point is not the point
Rather, the heart of the matter
defines the quality
and rhythm of life
We can justify with statistics
and other implements
yet under construction
The Truth simply is
Now and Always
The true Point
Man of Integrity
Walking in integrity
Loving each day
with every fiber
He is a harbinger
of integrity
and a gift
to this world

more plaster or paint
like some abstract painting
rich texture and hints
Silent messages
overlooking the plaza
where the busy congregate
and only fleetingly notice
the wisdom of prosperous past

Surrounded by community
Lifted up and supported
By their love and actions
He grew up sure of himself
With a heightened sense
Of his integral part of it all
