Every delay, every stumble
Every time he fell
into the abyss —
He was always
perfectly on time…
The Rainbow of Friendship
Arced high above their heads
like a rainbow bridge of hope and joy
The aura of their love
vibrated the air with
the strong energy
of their friendship and commitment…
The Wheel
The wheel goes round and round
simply ever spinning
Yet where it touches with friction
the outside world
It causes the cart
to move along the path
The Hawk
On the sun-bleached fencepost
near the gnarled knot
sat the resting red-tail hawk
in her favorite warming spot
Unnoticed by the passing cars
in her silent vigil there
her ruffled feathers beautiful
eyelids muffling her intense stare

and all the flying beings!
Full
She felt the warmth
seep into her bones…
Like sands in the hour glass
She noticed the light
and love filled her up
Until she literally radiated
with great exuberance
Little Bug
Full of it, little bug
stuck out his chest
As he boastfully
approached the morsel of food
“Manna” that had just appeared
in front of him
Uplifted
Uplifted heart
awakened and surrounded
by many hours brimming
to overflowing with joy
and held together
by the ultimate superglue – love
Love
Love, love, …love
That’s all I’ve got to say
In the face of everything
Any time and any day
Fills me up–it’s all I am
Surrounds me–it’s all you are
Permeates and snuggles in
Instills life in reality
Spirit = Love

To write you a poem
Thought it may seem silly
With rhyme and things
